He is one of the most accomplished storytellers in the industry, and is a director known for pushing
boundaries. His films have neatly encapsulated brand messages, and this can be seen throughout the
200+ commercials he has made for globally recognised organisations such as Microsoft, Heineken,
Vodafone, McDonalds, Adidas, Ford, Garnier and Porsche.
His style and vision juxtapose dark matters in a light and highly entertaining manner. The exclusive
London based creativity platform SHOTS has featured 12 of Charley’s films in the past two and a half
years. He also recently appeared on a list of the 50 top commercial directors of all time.
Charley has received over 100 international directing awards, including Cannes, Epica, ADC, Bessies,
ICAD, Effie, London Int., Golden Drum, New York Festivals, and numerous gold medals throughout his
career. Charley directed the 15 million dollar movie Dead Fish starring Gary Oldman and Robert
Carlyle, and has also worked with Oscar winning actors Sir Sean Connery, Sharon Stone, and Cuba
Gooding Jr.
Over the past few years he as well became known for directing Sports Celebrities (Fc Bayern Thomas
Müller, Oliver Kahn and Marco Reuss) as well as other global VIP`s such as Pamela Anderson.
